They asked real questions and were truly interested in all of us with no hurry or time limit. To have @jockowillink and @realleifbabin thank me for my service and write 'Thanks for serving in harms way' on my leadership manual truly humbled me and made me realise how special the bond is between those of us that have been willing to die in the service of our countries and how powerful a simple thank you can be. I don't think we recognise this well enough in Australia and that's part of the reason why I truly believe in organisations like @frontlineyogainc and the work they are doing. Sometimes a simple 'thank you' is enough to bring someone back from the brink of darkness. Thank a veteran today, you might just save a life.

They asked real questions and were truly interested in all of us with no hurry or time limit. To have @jockowillink and @realleifbabin thank me for my service and write 'Thanks for serving in harms way' on my leadership manual truly humbled me and made me realise how special the bond is between those of us that have been willing to die in the service of our countries and how powerful a simple thank you can be. I don't think we recognise this well enough in Australia and that's part of the reason why I truly believe in organisations like @frontlineyogainc and the work they are doing. Das ist der Grund, warum sich die meisten Menschen vor ihr fürchten!《 {George Bernard Shaw}⁣ ⁣ |Werbung| Diese Woche habe ich die Verantwortung für mein Leben übernommen und eine wichtige #Entscheidung für mich und meine #Familie getroffen. ⁣ Ich habe mein Abendgymnasium abgebrochen, um das zu lernen, was mich meinen Zielen weiter bringt. Die Situation mit 2 Kleinkindern und einer Firma im Aufbau noch zur Schule zu gehen, die ich eigentlich für meine Ziele überhaupt nicht brauche, wurde für uns alle unerträglich. ⁣ Die eine Tür schließt sich und ein paar neue Türen öffnen sich. ⁣ Heute war ich dann im #Lichtlächeln #Yogazentrum ( @lichtlaecheln) , um mich von @p.l.yogaheiler und @baeuchlein.coach beraten zu lassen und hab mich entschlossen dort ab Mai 2020 die Ausbildung zur #Yogalehrerin und zur #Kinderyogalehrerin zu machen. What is autoimmune disease?

Autoimmune disease is when your immune system attacks itself. There are many types, so many in fact, most sufferers never receive a specific diagnosis but are simply labeled as autoimmune disease. Some common diagnoses you may have heard of are Celiac, Fibromyalgia, Hashimotos, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriasis, Lupus, and IBS. There is no cure for these diseases. 
Inflammation plays a big role in these diseases which is why so many people with autoimmune diseases have dietary restrictions. Foods that cause inflammation and are difficult to digest may include gluten, grains, dairy, nuts, beans, seeds, nightshades, and fruits with high sugar. Exercise can also be difficult for these individuals as any activity that causes the body to work hard or become inflamed can cause flare ups. 
Symptoms of these diseases can include extreme exhaustion, digestive issues, headache or migraine, joint pain, abdominal pain, muscle aches, frequent illness or infection, rashes, fever, numbness in hands and feet,  and more. Most sufferers deal with these symptoms daily but when flare ups occur these symptoms become more intense and debilitating. 
Those suffering with Autoimmune Disease can do everything right, sleep well, eat well, and avoid stress but will still experience flare ups, often without warning. This disease makes it hard to maintain relationships, friendships, and employment. It causes mental health issues, isolation, and feelings of hopelessness. 
I am grateful that my flares are relatively infrequent (once to twice a month not usually lasting longer than a week) and that I have learned what foods to avoid, what types of exercise to avoid, and how to tell when my body needs rest. This disease has taught me the importance of setting boundaries, of saying no when I need to, and has brought me understanding friends who are patient with my illness.
