It’s carb loading day‼️🍞 2 days out from my half marathon so today is allll about the carbs💪🏼 bumping up my overall calories a lot today and tomorrow but still focusing on eating clean (aside from the pasta and pizza I’m gonna have tonight 😍🍕🍝) Today’s breakfast is 3 scrambled eggs with everything but the bagel seasoning paired with 3 whole wheat toast varieties🍳 almond butter and chia seeds, smashed avocado with EBTB, and everything but the bagel yogurt dip with more EBTB sprinkled on top🥜🥑🥯 #hungryhealthy
Practice Good Habits Before You Have To
Don’t wait to start practicing healthy fitness and nutrition habits until it is too late!
Often we put off effort and adversity until we need to make that change. We enjoy the easy life that we live and the less stress we face, the less energy we need to exert.. Truth be told, it is a comfortable feeling!
But, we should not always choose the path of least resistance. We should try to practice good habits while we are still in a good position!
Don’t wait until you are having constant pains and aches before you start resistance training! Go work on your core and practice strengthening your body so you can avoid that while you age!
Don’t wait until you have no energy in the day and get fatigued easily. Find a regular time where you can get in a physical activity so you can keep sustainable energy throughout your entire day!
Don’t wait until you have heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and other preventable and chronic diseases! Start making those lifestyle choices now so you can have strong and healthy habits.
Don’t wait until you’ve dug yourself into a hole where the climb out seems impossible. Get started early so if you ever find yourself in a bad position, you will have the knowledge and ability to make your way out more easily.
You have a choice everyday and every week to make self-improvements. We all have busy schedules and we all face adversity on the daily, but that is still no excuse to not fit in some personal time for your health and wellness.
Do not make it harder than it needs to be. You got this.
