Officially halfway🥳🥳🥳 So hard to believe I’m already halfway through this awesome journey. Many tears and joy. I’m actually quite scared cuz I don’t feel like I’ve equipped with that much knowledge and skills, but I’ll try my best in the rest of two years and put all effort to achieve what I want to do in my whole life💕💕
有空可以在慢慢講為什麼我end up in melb的ㄎㄧㄤ事😅
Seminggu lalu 2 ekor saudara Kasih (dog name) R.I.P dikarenakan Parvovirus, sedih banget.
Are you noticing a discoloration or oiliness around the base of your cat’s tail? Commonly called “𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝 𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥” because it occurs primarily in intact, male cats, this condition actually has many names:
- Supracaudal gland infection
- Supracaudal gland hyperplasia
- Feline tail gland hyperplasia
The condition results from overactive sebaceous glands located near the base of the tail. Sebaceous glands are specialized glands that produce waxy or oily secretions used by the hair follicles. In normal amounts, the oils keep the hair soft and flexible, but excessive sebum can result in waxy, oily accumulations. Affected cats show an accumulation of sebum that results in a buildup of hair, scales and resultant crusting.
Since this condition occurs primarily in intact, adult males, it can be prevented by neutering male cats. As always, it is recommended that you take your cat to your veterinarian for a thorough evaluation.

🛑🛑IMMUNE-MEDIATED THROMBOCYTOPENIA (IMTP)🛑🛑
Me thinks I can see a treat in your ear hooman 🧐 This is another one of my favourite diseases 😊
💥Platelets are tiny blood cells that help your body form clots to stop bleeding. If one of your blood vessels gets damaged, it sends out signals to the platelets. The platelets then rush to the site of damage and form a plug (clot) to fix the damage. An example is when you cut yourself, the cut is like an out of control party (bleeding) and platelets rush to the cut to join and control the party. I've added a comic from @theawkwardyeti which is an amazing depiction of a platelet party 🥳
💥Immune-mediated thrombocytopenia (IMTP) is where the body (immune-mediated) destroys it's own platelets, leading to potential inappropriate bleeding. This happens because platelet autoantibodies (primarily IgG) bind to the platelet surface, resulting in the immune system destroying it's own platlets. Thrombocytopenia develops when platelet destruction exceeds platelet production. IMTP can be primary, with no identifiable cause, or secondary to various diseases.
💥Primary IMTP is where there is no identifiable underlying cause for the platelet destruction. Primary IMTP is more common in dogs than in cats. Secondary IMTP is where there is a inciting cause such as infectious (e.g. viral, bacterial 🦠, parasitic) or cancerous. IMHA and IMTP together is referred to as Evans’ syndrome. I have done a previous post on IMHA, which I have added to my story 🤗
💥Clinical signs: some dogs with IMTP may be asymptomatic. Possible clinical signs include but are not limited to lethargy, anorexia, fever, weakness, petechiae (tiny round, brown-purple spots due to bleeding under the skin), ecchymoses (bruising), pale gums, bleeding gums, melena (dark tarry faeces, often due to upper GI bleed), hematemesis (blood in vomit), hematochezia (fresh blood in faces), epistaxis (blood nose), blood in urine, behaviour changes, seizures, lameness and coughing. .
💥How do you think we diagnose IMTP⁉️

Spotterup promotes the idea of the classical "whole" man found in ancient texts. For our modern day he is the GUNFIGHTER WRITER WILDMAN MONK: Man of Action, Man of Intellect, Man of Emotion, Man of Spirit. Consider the Athenian ideal of a balanced education. From the book Greek Realities: Life and Thought in Ancient Greece, By Finley Hooper "They could play some flute but should not neglect wrestling." They avoided the excesses of life. They might focus on music or philosophy but spent enough time so that their bodies did not become soft." A Spotter is known as the consummate Chessman. He identifies issues, gathers information on the threats, devises a plan, and executes it successfully. In heraldry, the skull represents victory of life over death, and our spotter tower is a fortress that is a testament to his ability. Sometimes success is achieved by looking inside rather than beyond, and it is gained by listening to what you ‘know’. He is the sentinel that watches over others, himself, and learns in order that he can point the way out of danger. AUT INVENIUM VIAM AUT FACIUM-I will either find a way or I will make one. Legend has it that the military commander Hannibal said this to his generals after they told him it was impossible to cross the Alps on elephants.
