Stay cool with a book today! There are several story times going on around Austin today through @austinpubliclibrary including one at Central Library! It’s a great way for the kids to beat this crazy summer heat and get your reading in. If you’ve been tackling those books tons of local books stores are offering summer reading programs! @halfpricebooks , @bookpeople ,and @barnesandnoble are all offering gift certificates or a free book in exchange for your summer reading list! Next week we’ll have read enough this summer to get a free book!! Yay!! What’s your child’s favorite book right now?
It’s my last day in London and I still had some spare pounds floating around my purse, so naturally I popped over to @dauntbooks one last time to pick up Commonwealth by Ann Patchett for August bookclub 😌
Anyone an Ann Patchett fan? This will be my first time reading her. I love that along with being an author she also owns a bookstore in Nashville( 👋@parnassusbooks ). Dream life 😌
What language would you like to learn?🌍
All @owlcratejr Zodiac Adventure boxes are already been shipped and I saw that some already received theirs😱 I hope that my box will get here soon😍🙈

I actually don't have any Chinese inspired books so I used my Japanese text books 🙈 (“Minna no nihongo“ 1&2 if you want to know😁)
I used to learn Japanese for at least 5 years or more🤔 it's kinda sad that I still can't actually have conversations in Japanese🙈
A language I'd love to learn is Russian😃 mostly because my boyfriend and his family are from Russia and they tend to switch from speaking german to russian quite fast during family events so I end up sitting there only understand like 6 words🙈🙈🙈
Have a wonderful day🌻💕
Ancient Sumerian women were possibly the first to invent and wear lipstick, about 5,000 years ago. They crushed gemstones and used them to decorate their faces, mainly on the lips and around the eyes.⠀

Thoroughly enjoyed launching & discussing Manu S Pillai’s (@waatcoconut) marvellous new book (his third in two years!) “The Courtesan, the Mahatma and the Italian Brahmin: Tales from Indian History” this evening in Delhi with @roydevapriya. A delightful read for all those who enjoy a good story —& history!
