Just a quick bite to eat during these crazy days leading up to Christmas. .
It’s crazy how the holidays hit us sometimes. We know our goals are important. Showing up everyday is important! And you plan to stick to your goals when things go crazy and get busier, and then....the holidays hit the fan...and things don’t go as planned. And these days feel crazy busy!! But not just busy. It feels like someone has stolen time from our day and it just disappears!! 🤯
And when we don’t have time to do everything we need to we done we get STRESSED. And when we are stressed we might push our goals to the back burner because we “don’t have time.” .
And I’m here to tell you... time doesn’t change. We still have the same amount of time in a day we are just trying to do too much all at once. And we don’t have to.
We don’t have to do EVERYTHING. We can ask for help. We can prioritize our to do list. And if we can’t do EVERYTHING we were doing so well before, that’s okay! Because baby steps is making more progress then giving up until next year. .
Do what you can.
Don’t forget to eat. 😉
And just think if you can show up even just a little during the craziest time of the year.. imagine what you will be capable of when you can get back to your normal routine 😏
Meet one of the many extraordinary team members at Portland Exchange, Ellie! Ellie moved to Santa Cruz at a young age and got into barista-ing at just about the time you can start working. In Santa Cruz, she worked at a small coffee shop for four years where she learned close to everything there is about coffee. She moved up to Portland in June of this year and soon found herself at Portland Exchange where she is ecstatic to continue expanding her coffee knowledge! Her favorite drink is the Cascara latte and recommends you try one while they are in season!
Finally using up another one of our wedding gifts, this time it was for a meal for two for our anniversary @chez.bruce 🇫🇷 I’m not going to go into detail into each dish we had... as there were so many 😅 but you really do see why they’ve earned their Michelin star. Their in house sommelier (wine pairingexpert) also gives you the best tips on which wine to go with. If it’s French fine dining you’re after this is a great gem of a place. My favourite was the tuna tartare with blanched pear - c’est magnifique 👌🏽#eatlikeaTANK
It’s #tbt an in honor of our 8 month anniversary we reflect back on opening day April 12, 2019. The line was literally out of the door filled with supporters and believers. Thank you for rocking with us B’more! We love you and that’s REAL! 🥂 to many more packed houses and celebrations with Baltimore’s Best Oyster Bar 2019 @theurbanoyster Oh and that’s me dad looking shucking tired from non-stop oyster shucking 🤣🤣 and because we’re impulsive we’re celebrating with a little karaoke tonight!
Paris truly is a paradise for all food lovers like me, and obviously trying new thing like French Halal cuisine have its own amusing. The dishes taste quite good, I like the Beef tenderloin the most because the meat is cooked carefully and well done, accompanied by homemade French fries is good tho. The price is affordable, I am sure that one-course meal can keep your belly full. Please note that reservations are recommended because this restaurant opens just only in the evening. Space is cozy, chic and the service is quick. 🍳🚩160 boulevard de Charonne 75020 Paris
