Are Free Radicals Slowly Killing Us?! Research conducted by Brunswick Laboratories, found that the leaf powder from the Moringa Oleifera tree registered the highest ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) score more than any other food tested including acai berries, green tea, blueberries, dark chocolate, garlic, goji berries, pomegranates and red wine. Moringa Oleifera had the highest ORAC score of 157,000.
Research has shown Moringa to be a very potent antioxidant with a stellar profile of diverse anti-oxidants scored and even though it score extremely high in ORAC testing it is far superior to that finding. The ORAC score is conducted in a test tube, and most often what happens in a test tube has no direct correlation to the physiology that happens in your body. Empirical evidence of the ability of Moringa Oleifera to reduce oxidative stress is far more relevant than ORAC.
